Info: Dobharcu is an evil, flesh eating rapist who likes to torment his victims with rape and dismembers, disembowling, and other fun stuff before he actually eats them. Faeries are his favorite food. The only exception to his cannibalistic tendencies is Cailte, a person to whom, at least in Dobharcu's mind, he is extremely kind to and in actuality loves. Besides his Cailte obsession, Dobharcu's other passion is his hair, something just as important to him as Cail.

Cailte Toal Brennan

Gender: Male
Info: Cailte is a first year college student majoring in computer science who, due to his excessive femininity, is often mistaken for a girl. Despite his avid gay porn fascination he steadfastly refuses any possibilities that he is gay.

Leanan Sidhe
Age: Old
Gender: Female
Info: Though her good and bad sides are supposedly equal, Leanan seems to keep all of her badness reserved for her son, Dobharcu. Depositing him when he was only three at his father's doorstep she had hoped to never see the boy again. When that hope was dashed, she made sure he knew how much disdain she had for him, being a halfbred freak and all.

Age: Dead now, but in the prologue's beginning, 26.

Info: A kind man, blacksmith, and Dobharcu's human father. He takes in his son readily and still loves him after all his flesh eating murders. He finds no fault in his son, just that it was in his nature which he tries to understand and accept.

Info: The High King of Ireland's Sidhe court, the king holds court regularly to discuss matters of nature and human assistance. He also deals out judgement on some of the most serious offenders, like Dobharcu, a fay killer.

Info: Finvarra's wife, queen of the faeries, and relatively kind to Dobharcu, feeling bad for him despite his faerie eating tendencies.

Info: Ankou, otherwise known as Death, is a hard working, busy man who collects the souls of the dead. As Dobharcu has a soul from his father's human half, Ankou does not like him because his soul will never die. Ankou, at times, has been requested to go out and search for Dobharcu in his travels, but as he and the king are not the best of friends, he never spends an exceedingly long time dong it.
