The Polgara the sorceress

Polgara the Sorceress, by David Eddings

She's the most beautiful woman of all time. Deep blue eyes, jet black hair, timeless, with a white streak above her brow. This story is like that of her father's, Belgarath the Sorcerer, but it tells her side of the story. All those loose ends given in Belgarath's account. It tells of her love of a man she can't have, of her dealing with her powers, and the death of her sister. This book is the final that ties in the rest of the story, and even gives little comments on how the characters we have come to know and love are fairing. There's love, death, hate, battles, magic... almost anything for anyone - written in a woman's point of view by a man. But Mr. Eddings had his lovely wife Leigh to help him.

My rating? 4 stars.
