W Juliet
Mangaka: Emura
Volume: 1-14

W Juliet tells the romance story between a girl that prefers to act like a boy, Ito Miura, and a young man who has to be a woman in order to fulfill his deal with his father, named Makoto Narita. Makoto wants to pursue his dream as an actor, but his father wouldn't allow him to do so. So he made a deal with him, that if he could go to school as a woman and graduate without anyone ever knowing the truth, he could go and do what he wants. Ito was the only one that knows about this, and they both fall deeply in love. They have to overcome so many obstacles during the school years, but nothing could come between them, not even their families who finally found out and did everything to separate them. The books also cover the story about the other family members, such as Ito's brother and Makoto's sister who ended up as a couple themselves. And of course there were some rivals like a senior in their drama club; Tsugumi, who's obsessed with Ito and a younger student who's deeply in love with Makoto Amano, the female alias of Makoto Narita. The story evolves so well and we get a glimpse of all the characters' stories, and you would definitely enjoy reading about the unbreakable bond between Ito and Makoto. They've been through so much before they could finally live happily ever after.

The drawing is also unique and good, and most parts are pretty funny. The series are long, but they're definitely enjoyable to read.
